Club Members Photo Chosen for Canon Exhibition in Sydney
Back in 2009 Des Baillie entered the attached photo (Bush Fire) in the Canon EOS 5 competition run by Canon Australia. The photo was not the overall winner in its section but did receive a positive response from Canon.
The photo was also entered into the Rotorua Camera Club as a contender for the end of year 2009 artistic photography award and gained 1st place.
Canon Australia have again been in touch with Des and have chosen this photo to include in a Canon exhibition being held during the Photo Marketing Association conference and exhibition at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour, Sydney. The exhibition runs from the 23rd to the 26th of June. The Photo Marketing Association International joined forces with the Photo Imaging Council of Australia to promote a new show concept for the Asia-Pacific photo imaging industry.
